Purpose of this website

Presentation of the holiday apartment “Juwi” in Linz, Austria, and handling of booking enquiries. This website pursues no political interests and serves no third-party advertising.

Online dispute resolution

The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

Privacy notice (GDPR / DSGVO)

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). This notice explains what data we process, why, and what rights you have.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the media owner named in the imprint above. You can reach us at info@linz-accommodation.com for any questions about data protection.

2. Enquiry / contact form

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we process the data you provide — your name, email address, and, if given, your phone number, preferred dates, number of guests and message — solely to answer your enquiry and to take steps towards a possible booking.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
• Recipients: to deliver your message to us, the form contents may be transmitted through our email / messaging provider. No data is sold or passed on for advertising.
• Retention: we keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet any statutory retention obligations, then delete it.

3. Server log files & hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., acting as our processor under a data processing agreement. When you visit the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically records technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type). This is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website).

4. Maps (Google Maps)

We use Google Maps to show the location of the apartment and the surrounding area. To protect your privacy, maps are not loaded automatically: each map stays a placeholder until you actively click “Load map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google and transmit your IP address, and Google may set cookies. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given by clicking to load the map); you can withhold it simply by not loading the map. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Fonts

Web fonts are self-hosted and served from this website's own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other third party is made to load fonts, so no data is transmitted to font providers.

6. Availability calendar

The availability calendar is generated on our server from the booking platforms' calendar feeds. This is an outbound request made by us; no personal data of yours is transmitted to Airbnb or Booking.com when you view the calendar.

7. Cookies & analytics

This website itself sets no tracking or analytics cookies and uses no web-analytics or advertising tools. Cookies may only be set by Google Maps, and only if you actively choose to load a map (see section 4).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@linz-accommodation.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), dsb.gv.at.

9. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
